Dar es Salaam City former MZIZIMA a major city and commercial port on Tanzania’s Indian Ocean coast, grew from a fishing village. The open-air Village Museum has re-created the traditional homes of local and other Tanzanian tribes and hosts tribal dancing. It’s part of the National Museum, which offers Tanzanian history exhibits, including the fossils of human ancestors found by anthropologist Louis Leakey.

Pande is the smallest Game Reserve in Tanzania covering an area of 15.39 square kilometers in Kinondoni and Ubungo Districts in Dar es Salaam City. Pande Game Reserve is part of the Eastern Arc / Coastal Forest Biodiversity Hotspot among the highest priority areas for biodiversity conservation in the world. Pande has also been classified as an ‘Important Bird Area’ by Birdlife International nearest the Dar es salaam city.

KILIMANJARO YOUNG MAMA CHARITY
As a founder of Kilimanjaro Young Mama Charity;
This Charity was my dream since when I grew up in my father’s village.
According to Chagga tribe culture mostly girls faced challenges through their maturity they have been forced to be circumcised, girls are not allowed to go to school they were forced to get married, they were not allowed to participate on family meetings or any decision etc.
By working hard as a victim who my father refused to pay school fees but my Mummy fought for me,
Currently working hard promoting the charity to inspire the girls in my village by conducting Workshop, Vocational skills, Cultural Tour, Hiking to Mount Kilimanjaro (Day trip) planting trees near the Mountain to preserve the environment, some of them the return back to school etc.
We have the Program every twice a year we Travel to our home village to distribute some local materials to make Local fabrics and we provide Mobile phones (5) girls to enable them to sell what they are making after they attended vocational Training Skills so they can employ themselves.
